Dr. Angela Alistar, MD

Totally disagree with these other posts regarding returning phone calls etc.. just recently I have called after hours, and didn’t get a covering Dr , but Dr Allistar herself… she handles me with compassion and care… and I have serious complications from my cancer. 5 Stars ??

Considering the amount of money that my insurance company pays to Morristown you would expect Ms. Alistar to act with a more professionalism and follow through. You get to see her for 15 minutes once every two weeks. She often does not return phone calls. Her manner when I first met her was pleasant but as I worked with her she became very impersonal, brusque, and robotic. She does not answer questions in an easy to understand way. Her style is distant and arrogant. The fact that you can never get her on the phone for important issues is another problem. There are just too many patients at Morristown for her to handle. She adds to my stress level and is not the point person I want to rely on for my serious cancer condition.

Seems nice in person, if you actually get to see her and not her assistant, but she will make you wait hours past your appointment time. She will not call back for days when you have an urgent need to speak (upcoming surgery, bad reaction to treatment). People are just money to her. Having cancer is stressful enough, you don’t need a doctor who makes you suffer more with her indifference
