Dr. Cameron was born and raised in Morristown, Tennessee. She graduated from Furman University in Greenville, SC with and B.S. in Biochemistry and also received a M.S. in Bio-physical Chemistry. Dr. Cameron won the Richard L. Sullivan award for excellence in dental research for the work she did with the early detection of oral squamous cell carcinoma.
Following this Dr. Cameron graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
Dr. Cameron has been the featured dental expert on the Elite Ladies Show since 2003. She wrote a dental column called the "Smile Line" for many years for the Johnson City Press. She often is asked to give her dental opinion for local news features. She goes to local schools and teaches children the importance of good dental health.
Dr. Cameron chose to …practice in East Tennessee in order to be close to her family. She is married to Dr. Jason Cunningham, who has a dental practice in Erwin, TN. They have two beautiful children, Andrew and Alexis. In her spare time, Dr. Cameron likes to read, spend time with her family, and is active in Church.
Dr. Cameron is a Fellow in the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (FDOCS), a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
