Meet Angela Carter, FNP-BCHello! I'm Angela Carter, your dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner and the proud owner of Covenant Family Care. My passion for nurturing health and well-being has driven me to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that caters to individuals and families at every stage of life. With a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University and a rich background as a bedside nurse specializing in respiratory and neurology critical care, I bring a wealth of experience to my practice. My journey in healthcare began with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Forsyth Technical Community College, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University and finally a Master's Degree from Walden University. At Covenant Family Care, we embrace the convenience of modern healthcare by offering virtual consultations and home visits throughout North Carolina. Prior to founding my practice, I served the community at North State Medical Center, …focusing on primary care for all ages. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am actively involved in giving back through volunteer work at local organizations like Elevation Church-Matthews, Free Clinic Matthews, and Ground40 in Monroe. My most fun and most important job is being a mom to my 13 yr old son. We love traveling to his soccer games and visiting the beach whenever our schedule allows. We also bring along a 7 year old Dalmatian and a 9 month old German Shepard puppy, so our days are very active. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with my patients and am committed to guiding you towards optimal health with kindness and expertise. Let's embark on this journey together!
