Dr. Angela Poon Cherlin, MD

Angela Cherlin's attitude toward patients is very bad, her inquiries are not careful, the questions asked are very impatient, she leaves the patient before the end of the consultation, and at least she has no respect for the patient, she even also talks about medical ethics.

Dr Cherlin is one of the best female doctors around. U can tell her whatever medical problems u have without judging u and is very straight forward when giving u treatment, always recommends places where u can get affordable lab test, etc. I have health insurance where i can get all my medical needs but i still go to her for chk up n advices. I trust her! I just wish she has affiliation with hospitals.

I was a patient of her for years a few years back... dr CherLin is so amazing!! Words could never adequately describe just how amazing she really is. Truly the absolute best dr I have ever had the privilege of dealing with. I was blessed to have found her!

We have been taking our daughter here since she was born, they were located at the mall. They are very nice, caring , and the Dr is Dr Cherlin, she is a mother herself so not only she will give you medical advice but she can give you practical examples drawn from her life experience. That is priceless. I highly recommend them for children, ask for Dr Cherlin .

I've gone to Care One since they were located by the Puente Hills Mall. My oldest is 9, the middle is 6 and my youngest is 19 months. All 3 of my children have been seen by the Drs. here. We normally see Dr. Angela Cherlin but if schedules conflict, no matter which Dr. I see everyone is on target with my children. They take the time to review the charts, really sit and listen to your problems/needs. They go over and beyond covering everything with you and your child. If possible, they make sure that the child fully understands what's going on and what needs to be done on their behalf. Their gentle and caring with the children considering they too have children as well. They relate by sharing similar experiences of their own with you. How much more personal can that get? The nurses and front office staff are professional, welcoming and very friendly. The waiting time here is very reasonable, especially when an appointment was not made. The office and rooms are kept clean and tidy. It… even has a pharmacy conveniently located right next door. Which I myself find to be a bonus! I have met staff members from 2 different hospitals, Queen of the Valley Hospital and Los Angeles Children's Hospital that both have Dr. Cherlin as their childs Dr. They too raved about her, the team and it's office staff. Dr. Cherlin has been great to us through the years and we have been very blessed to have her as our Dr! Overall this team/office is amazing! I hope my review helps you make a great choice. So far Ive seen two doctors here, Dr. Cherlin (the younger female) seems way more informed than the other people. I really hatewhen doctors asked so haveyou done some research on what your symptoms may be? Why, yes, yes I did. But im not telling, theyre typically easy and will write scripts for what I think will solve my issue

I am driving an extra 10 miles just to see Dr. Cherlin because she changed offices!

This doctor did NOT CARE AT ALL. After sitting with her, she had the most nonchalant diagnosis, didn't give any clear recommendations or explanations about the medication she wanted to prescribe. Upon asking more questions such as what would happen if my child didn't heal from the medication, she asked if we would know if we would die in ten years...WHAT?! SHE asked if we would die in ten years... we told her that we are not experienced like her and do not understand all the medical possibilities and hence would ask some "stupid" questions but from her perspective, she SHOULD GIVE A PROFESSIONAL opinion rather than ask... "Do you know if you're going to die in ten years?" We refused any further treatment, diagnosis, medication and left.

Dr. Cherlin does not seem to care about her patients in any way. Speaking with Dr. Cherlin is like speaking a stranger even after many visits. She makes no effort to talk to you about anything. However, the reception staff here is what really made up my mind to change providers. They are very unprofessional and rude. The doctor brought me a paper with the total before the service and then the staff in front charged me a completely different price after the service. They demanded extra money from me even though I showed them the doctor's receipt. My paper had an amount for a service, their paper had an increased amount for the same exact service. The doctor came out and said it was her completely her fault then told me I still need to pay and left without explanation. The staff would roll their eyes, argue with the doctor in front of me, and then demand I make payment with such rudeness. The only thing they care about here is making as much money as possible, even if it means cheating… their patients. I would never recommend this doctor's office to anyone and I changed providers as soon as I got home.

I had an appointment with her for my physical , but she said she was too busy that day, so she can't finish all the test and asked me to go back another time.
