Dr. Angela Swain Edwards, MD

Dr. Angela Edwards joined The Children's Clinic in August 2005. She earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Arkansas, and received her Masters in Biopsychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Edwards received her M.D. from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2000, and did her residency in pediatrics at the University of Kentucky at Lexington in 2003. She served as chief resident from 2003 - 2004, and practiced pediatric medicine as a faculty member of the University of Kentucky's Department of Pediatrics before joining The Children's Clinic.

Dr. Edwards grew up in Morrilton, and is married to Dr. Clinton Edwards, a Nephrologist at Clopton Clinic. The couple has a daughter Abbey, who was born in 2003 and a son Adam, born in 2005. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
