Dr. Angela Fishman, DO

This doctor was extremely unprofessional and rude to my 80 year old mother-in-law who has been having serious gastro issues the past several months. The doctor became furious that my MiL had an appt with another doctor. She said in a very aggravated tone “You came to me in 2020 then went to other doctors and 4 years later you come back here with all these problems?!!! Why are you here?!” She spoke in a very condescending tone like “why are you taking XYZ medicine?!!! You don’t know?!!” (which another doctor had prescribed). Several sarcastic laughs, many exaggerated eye rolls, and 0 helpful advice. We’ve never had such an unprofessional doctor in our lives. She does colonoscopy and endoscopy on you and if she finds nothing there is nothing wrong with you. Even if you still complain. Had a second opinion with other physician in Warwick and he found I had celiac disease with s change in diet I was normal again. Thank you Dr Mis

I went to Dr Fishman in hopes of figuring out my health issues. She was nice but ended up telling me I had a good grasp on what I could and couldn't eat when I specifically went there to find out what was wrong because everything I ate bothered me. They wanted to do a endoscopy and colonoscopy on me to find out what was wrong so we booked it. A month out I get two different calls with two completely different answers about why they need to move the appt out for another month. The next day I receive another call to move my follow up appt as well. A week later I get ANOTHER call to move my procedure again. I have now been not able to eat normally for three full months and have lost 40 unexplainable pounds. I have had to move my days off multiple times and when I expressed my concern to the secretary on the phone she actually gave me an attitude about it. I'msorry to say but I will be finding another doctor and another office because it does not feel like this office cares for their… patients or their patients well being.

Woke up during procedure every time. I have had several procedures by her and have woken up on the table every time. Will not return, I have now found a new Doctor and have not woken up at all.

I was referred by my PC doctor to get tested for celiac. I went to see her and told her all the issues I was having after eating gluten. I also told her that I went gluten free over 6 months prior to seeing her. She scheduled a test where she biopsied several parts of my colon. After the procedure she told me that I was not celiac and I could eat all the gluten I wanted. I was stunned because I had already told her that I went on an elimination diet and gluten was a problem. I felt that I was not heard and never went back. I still do not eat gluten and if I happen to by accident (eating out, etc) I will be sick for several days to a week depending on how much I ate, and she told me to eat it!! In addition, when I returned to my PC and told him what was said, he told me to not eat gluten because he didn't want to see me in 20yrs for colon cancer! He also said that it doesn't always show up on tests and that I should of been told that. I would never recommend this doctor!

Dr Fishman was extremely nice I felt totally at ease with her. However her office staff (Stacey ) was rude. I was very upset with having to deal with her.

Have had a problem for many years that no Dr's were able to explain. Dr. Fishman, after many tests, perscribed a treatment and recommended being seen at Mass. Gen. The Dr. at mass Gen diagnosed my problem as a rare condition and said that the treatment (medication)was spot on by Dr. Fishman. He tweaked it a bit and I have been very happy with the resulted.

Dr. Fishman and her office staff were not only professional but curtious, friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Fishman herself put me at ease with the procedure I was going to have and spoke to me before and after the procedure. Her staff called me the next day and Dr. Fishman called me within a few days of the procedure. I would recommend her to both family and friends. The facility is 5 star in my opinion!! Great Job!!

attempted appointment as new patient - personal doctor recommended her. Difficult time getting switchboard & doctor NEVER returned calls after several attempts to set up appointment - must be way too busy to accept a new patient.
