Abandoned her patients without notification and disappeared

It has been over 3 years but I am almost fully recovered. I had gallbladder surgery in 2018. After I was discharged and sent home my body set up sepsis. I was linformed that she had clipped an unrelated organ. I had to have over 8 surgeries to fix what she f*upped. Not once did she call to check on me nor apologize.

I was referred to this doctor by a Star Medical rep in Plano. I called to see what the requirements were for Bariatric Surgery. I provided my ins. info for verification & they scheduled me an appt for Thurs at 8:15am. I drove 45 mins to this appt and was told that they never put be on the schedule. Unprofessional. The scheduler advised that she could add me, but the first apt is at 10am. My first thought, Uh no, it was actually 8:15am. I wld not recommend this office! What a waste of my time. If you cant commit to a schedule, how can I trust you with anything else. I will most definitely NOT return. They dropped the ball and nothing was done about it.

She explains everything in detail even drawing out your procedure in a piece of paper to make it visual

I would highly recommend Dr. Guzzetta to everyone needing wight loss/bariatric surgery

Dr. Guzzetta is very caring, understanding and really listens to you. Her staff is wonderful and kind as well. I highly recommend Dr. Guzzatta.

This was an execellent doctor, very informative.so happy with my options.
