Dr. Angela Marie Hardwick, MD

Dr. Hardwick was rather unfeeling in how she interacted with my 75 yo Father. The way she delivered a parkinsons diagnosis, after a 20 minute episode of yes/no questions followed by a 10step walk in the hall, was shocking and almost inhumane. All this after a 2 hour wait mind you, Dr. Hardwick stated, "you have parkinson's disease, and I can prove it by giving you medicine that stops it or I can scan your brain". in an automated voice void any sense of compassion or kindness. Dr. Hardwicks special address to my Father in "my chart" went unread by him, as it was equally unfeeling and unkind, and a man born in 1947 isnt quite adept at navigating "my chart " in the event she has been previously misled by her patient population. Dr. Hardwick walked us to the desk and said she wanted to see him in 30 days, I told the receptionist that I would need to speak with my sister to arrange transportation and she promptly stated "actually we are booked" In Dr. Hardwicks medical notes in his… chart, she stated that he "refused follow up care". Did he Dr. Hardwick? He didnt even know what parkinsons was, before we arrived or after we had left. Two months later, he asked me"Do you think I should take that test pill" I said what test pill dad? The one the Doctor recommended. I said "No Dad, that wasn't a test pill, it is the medicine that is used to treat Parkinson;s symptoms. Great teaching Dr. Hardwick. I don't think the elderly should be treated so dismissively. I was absolutely appalled.

Injected a neurotoxin into a tight muscle in my back. It is now atrophied and detached from the bone. She showed no remorse when this was reported to her. I now live in constant pain.

Permanently destroys muscles with Botox. Injects excesssive amounts near spine too. I do NOT recommend her for anyone.

Seemed nice at first but when I had a bad result from her procedure she was arrogant and condescending. She literally didn’t care.

This doctor ruined my life. I had some muscle tightness after a breast cancer surgery so I saw her because she was a physiatrist. She recommended Botox for the tight muscles. The morning after the injections, I could not lift my arms past my waist and I was extremely sick. My shoulders were visibly dropped and the skin on my left shoulder turned dark brown where she did the injections. I reported all this to her the next day. She told me it would wear off. It didn’t. I am winged now. I reported problems to her for the last year and she never would schedule an appt. I finally got an appt through someone in her office almost a year out. She wouldn’t examine me! I showed her pictures of my shoulders on my phone. Her response was, “What do you want me to do about it? If you don’t like my treatments, go somewhere else.” I’ve seen many doctors and all of them are shocked by the amount of Botox she injected. Save yourself and stay away from Angela Hardwick. My muscles were… destroyed by her.

I liked Dr. Hardwick from the beginning. She talks to you like a friend. Wait time is usually short, but something caused the last visit to be long wait. She always says to contact her if you have any questions. Prescription refills are prompt. I'll be seeing her for many years unless we move out of town.

This doctor has moved to Louisville & that is where I saw her. I waited less than a minute to be called back. When she came in she pulled up a chair, sat down, looked me in the eye & talked to me for an hour. She listened to everything I said & did not rush me. She did a through exam & gave good & effective recommendations for my disabling problem. Highly recommend this wonderful doctor.
