Dr. Angela Elisemarie Hudson, MD, FACOG

Terrible for Peri-menopause/Menopause Care I was a patient of Dr. Angela Hudson for 15 years. Don’t waste your time. There is an utter lack of understanding about the 1) wide range of symptoms from hormone deficiency, 2) what the therapeutic blood levels need to be, and 3) how they interplay with PAPs/TVU and other diagnostic tools. Here are examples: 1) I had suffered for decades with extreme joint pain from The Musculoskeletal Syndrome of Menopause. It wasn’t until I uttered the words “hot flash” did she offer BHRT. In fact, she said she couldn’t treat for pain even though that is a clear menopausal symptom. 2) I waisted 2 years, lots of $$$ and continued suffering while she inserted pellets. I would feel good for 2 weeks and then terrible for the following 10 weeks before allowed another insertion. My blood work showed an Estradiol of 40 and my FSH remained very elevated. She said this was “good”. Come to later find out, 40 is NOT “good”. A bare minimum of 60-70 Estradiol is… necessary to prevent bone loss. And, most women do not get symptom resolution until Estradiol is above 150. If a patient continues to have an elevated FSH, it is your body screaming for more Estradiol. The FSH will come down near zero when it is adequate. I did finally restore my health with a concierge hormone specialist. I continued to see Dr. Hudson because I believed she would be fine for my annual exams. 3) I was wrong. It is necessary for these labs to explicitly list all forms of BHRT. The pathologist can not read them properly and this quickly leads to invasive, unnecessary procedures – that she makes more money on. Dr. Hudson and her staff failed to mark my orders appropriately. And, there was a basic lack of understanding why it was important to do so. The harm done all of these years has been immeasurable.

Had been seeing another OBGYN since 1991 following her to each location she moved to and she has her own bldg. now. It takes about 3 months to see her and her office no longer were accurate in scheduling. I'd had enough and referred to Dr. Hudson. The very first meeting I knew I was in the right place. The only regret I have is I didn't have her years ago. She is very personal and comforting no matter how embarrassed I was. Other dr found cyst and said no need to operate, there're clear. WHAT...spoke to my primary who said she would remove because the future may become something else. So in speaking with Dr Hudson, she agreed. There happened to be more going on time of operation, she took extra steps and time. I just can't be more pleased with her. Just wish she were a primary too so I could go to her for absolutely everything. Can't praise her more. I hate proofreading.

Dr. Angela Hudson, Is an awesome physician she delivered both of my children.

Both the doctor and staff are unprofessional. Guess the staff follow the lead of the Doctor. Dr. Hudson has no time for her patients. You will seldom see her and when you do she is almost out of the door. Does not read nor update notes from previous visits. Haven't got a clue of what you came in for on your last visit. It is unbelievable. I visited her office for bleeding issues and she did not even bother to do an examination. wrote me up for some tests and on the next visit could not remember the reason for my initial visit nor did she follow-up with an examination. REALLY? Maybe she spends more time with pregnant patients since they bring in more revenue. Bathroom not very clean either. Have spotted a roach on one occasion. Another occasion no soap. another occasion no paper towels.

I met Hudson for the first time after 7 visits to her office. Her first words to me were, " You missed some appointments. We may have to drop you as a patient." In fact, I missed one appointment, for a good reason (that she didn't bother to ask about), and I cancelled 24+ hours in advance. Hudson was almost two hours late and offered no apology. She stayed with me all of 5 minutes and huffed off. I considered finding a new ob -one whom would get to know me and has a fully equipped office- prior to this visit. I wish I had. I sure will now and she knows it. This doctor may have had a good reputation years ago, but her hay day is over. People are turned off by her attitude and lack of availability. Shame on you, Dr. Hudson.

dont go to Dr. Hudson I was having preterm labor and I went into the Emergency room when I went to the emergency room they told me to follow up with the Dr. She said she didnt need to see me and the baby died.
