DONT BOTHER. FIND ANOTHER GROUP OF DOCTORS My son was diagnosed with Lyme disease. Wouldn’t give me an appointment if I didn’t send lab results. Sent results and was told I would get a call back once the doctor reviewed the results. Never got a call back. Left a few messages Because my son was feeling horrible. Still didn’t call back. Would NOT recommend.

Advised after hospital discharge did not need to be seen. Bandage was removed and put back on never changed.

Dr. Kim was the lead doctor for my case while in North Shore University Hospital last week with a recurring ankle infection. It was largely thanks to her presence, her concern and her manner that I felt as though I was receiving the best possible care. She provided detailed explanations about the thought process going into my diagnosis and treatment, was extremely happy to answer questions, and clearly seemed to be on top of my case.

2014 visit: Avoid this woman, not a doctor with any knowledge of Lyme. Dismissed me after a few minutes. Claimed results were a "false positive". Ignored another positive as "so close to negative". Zero level of professionalism. Months later, diagnosed with 3 tick diseases that had spread to CNS. The department is located in an out-dated, disgusting building. Waited/Wasted over 7 weeks to get an appt. NEVER recommend this woman or hospital to anyone. Awful people & facility. Do not even think about wasting valuable time or any money here.

Dr Kim is one of the most knowledable and caring doctors I have had the pleasure of caring for me! Being a healthcare professional myself it is very easy to pick up when a doctor is just addressing issues because they know you are aware of what to expect,so you don't let them know right away all you do know. That was not the case with her. Her knowledge, professionalism, care of even the small things make her the exception. There should be more like her!!!
