I am a retired dentist and have been going to Dr. Kim Lee for about 15 years. I am bipolar type II with anxiety and I have been difficult to treat. My wife and I come to the appointments together ad after many medication and ECT treatments I am relatively stable with minimal and tolerable side effects. Dr. Kim Lee's knowledge, understanding, patience, and compassion has served us well. Along with the meds, her listening ear and wise counsel have helped us, more than survive, this tumultuous roller coaster ride of bipolar disorder.

Dr. Kim-Lee has been treating me for bipolar for over nine years. She is one of the few "rare gems" out there who excel at both talk therapy and prescribing medication. She will encourage you and make you see how you can improve yourself and your situations. First-rate.

I was improperly diagnosed for years but Dr. Kim-Lee did a thorough evaluation and gave me the correct diagnosis and put me on the right meds. I’ve been doing wonderful since! She’s awesome!

If you insist on seeing Dr. Lee, make sure you get other professional opinions before proceeding with medications she prescribes. She makes her money as a bipolar specialist and she needs patients. Once someone is on lithium (which she prescribes like candy), it is impossible to come off of it without serious withdrawal. And she will not warn you of the withdrawal. Bipolar Disorder cannot be diagnosed in 1 session in under 30 minutes. A doctor should take into consideration the circumstances in a new patients life. She should not have a license to prescribe medication.
