How do you thank the surgeon that saved your life. My colon cancer reconstruction was done by Dr Kuhnen in Jan. of 2022. To say she saved my life seems so small but she did. She was constantly informing me and my husband of what would take place during surgery and followed me well after my discharge after 6 days at Lahey Burlington. Outstanding surgeon, knowledgeable, informative of everything you might incur during and after your surgery and is the expert in her field and the bonus, a Woman Surgeon. You could not ask for more. Although the recovery is long I know she will be there for me no matter what I need. She has stayed in touch with me for the past couple of months during the long recovery. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Angela Kuhnen to handle your surgery for colon cancer issues. She is not only a strong woman but is also your friend. You will love her as you go through your procedure, and she will be there for you. I promise.

Dr. Angela Kuhnen is a very caring and compassionate doctor who cares about her patients. She takes the time to explain and answer questions. She makes her patients feel comfortable. She goes above and beyond!

Dr Kuhnen provided top notch care and council. She was very professional and let me know what I was facing as far as surgery, rehabilitation and outcome. I would highly recommend.

The compassion, care, and expertise of Dr. Kuhnen is top notch. I could've have asked for a more dedicated and knowledgeable surgeon to address some pretty major medical problems. After 2 major surgeries, I've had 0 complications. Dr. Kuhnen treats both the patient and the person. She is down to earth, and a brilliant surgeon at the same time. I hope I don't have to see her anytime soon, but if I do have any GI issues in the future, I wouldn't want any surgeon but Dr. Angela Kuhnen and the team at BMC. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Follow up to procedure, she asks me why am I there. Very rude and abrupt. Would NEVER go to her again.
