Dr. Angela Maria Leiker, MD

She is dismissive and disinterested. I told her I might be depressed (extreme fatigue). She offered me an antidepressant without asking any questions. I declined. A year later I repeated my concern, she prescribed an antidepressant without asking any questions. I became physically ill after starting the med so discontinued use. I told her I wanted specific tests run before exploring different drugs. The lung cancer screening I requested revealed a mass. I was notified of this through an automated response from her portal. She NEVER personally contacted me.

Dr. Angela is a very kind compassionate Competent doctor With an excellent chair side manner. She listens gives you time to explain your issues And doesn’t dis- count what you say. I have grown to care a lot for her as my doctor wouldn’t trade her for anything.

Judgemental and without compassion

I love her...she was the best Dr. I have EVER seen and saved my life...i was cancelled from Primary Care Associates for a small bill after 7 yrs of them I pd all my debts but feel they r hiding real reason so I still tell you she is GREAT and I miss her

When visiting her for anything she always talks about what she wants to do vs. my health. Not sure how to take that as I’m 65 With COPD and she wants to only deliver babies. Guess if your a young mom, she is your doc. If your asking for advice on other healthcare she will tell you she doesn’t know. I want my doctor to know or to try to find out.

Dr. would not listen to me or the surgeon that preformed my diagnostic surgery. I was also told that I was to find one pharmacy and stay with that one. I've never been told that in my 50 years of living. Staff was always rude and made you feel like you were bothering them.

I owe Dr Angela Leiker many thanks for help save my life back in 2010. Wesley Hospital contacted her when i was admitted to hospital and they could not determine what was happening ti me. She instructed them to pursue other tests as what was happening to me was not a side of me ahe had seen or treated me for. So glad she pushed them to keep researching my situation as the final DX result came to be Strep Bacterial Miningitis. I have had nothing but the best of care from her and she pushes to find out what is happening in your situation. What ever tests need to be ran to find out what is going on based on what you are explaining that is your signs and symptoms she will pursue ti find an answer. I want a doctor who will diagnose and treat. I don't want a doctor who I have to tell what to do! I will not be going back. Dr. Leiker's bedside manner is very impersonal.
