Dr. Angela Merlo, MD

Can not understand how this woman still has a medical license. A horrific experience. She took 8 biopsies .. EIGHT, another dr told me its because she gets money per biopsy. She also likes to push coolscupting on her clients and steals your credit card info to bill any remaining balances without your knowledge. Stay away!

Dr. Merlo is amazing. For years my wife had been struggling with a stomach condition that made every day difficult and painful, and she saw numerous GI doctors who dismissed her symptoms or said they were just caused by things like GERD or gastritis. As soon as Dr. Merlo heard what was going on, she knew my wife had been misdiagnosed. She ordered a number of tests that quickly diagnosed the real problem and discovered a food sensitivity my wife didn't know she had. It was so wonderful that Dr. Merlo took her seriously, and as a result after six years of suffering my wife's stomach is back to normal. Thank you Dr. Merlo!!!

The staff was fine enough, but Dr. Angela Merlo was beyond rude and I have no idea how she has been in practice so long. I went to Dr Joseph DeAntonio after and I wish I had saved the time and money and gone to him first. If I could leave Dr Merlo no stars, I would. Absolutely atrocious woman. I don’t know if someone upset her the day I was there or if she’s always like that, but based on the other reviews I’m going to assume it’s the latter.

I CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT , AND THE LADY WHO CALLED BACK WAS VERY VERY VERY RUDE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND TO ADD THE CHERRY ON TOP SHE HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME FOR NO REASON, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING A MORE PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL GI DOCTOR, THIS DRS OFFICE HAS POOR PEOPLE CUSTUMER SERVICE .

Dr. Merlo made an unauthorized charge against credit card without notice. Simply an unpleasant, arrogant person to deal with. Would rather work with someone more personable, more professional. Sloppy billing / administration. Never going back.

My daughter has suffered with digestive problems for many years. No one paid any attention. Told use to live with it. She is a college student about to enroll in graduate education. She needs to be at her best to succeed and enjoy life. I searched on line and found Dr. Merlo. What a difference! Someone we both felt comfortable with. Someone we could trust. She recommended tests that no other physician had ordered. I guess they do not know what Dr. Merlo knows. In a short time my daughter is much better. And we plan more. Thank you Dr. Merlo!

I was referred by friend. I wish I had come sooner. Best experience with a physician. She takes the time to listen and to explain. Offers non-invasive tests.

this is not a good doctor in terms of personality and medical competence. patients should be very cautious of this woman. she is not patient friendly or does not appear concerned about the general health and welfare of patients...a one woman office..seems difficult to get along with...is not friendly to other doctors. no second opinions; works alone

Dr. Merlo has been amazing with my son. He is already starting to feel better because of her findings. She had cured him of his sorbitol allergy when he was 8 years old. 6 years later he is back again with different symptoms. Dr. Merlo makes sure she does what is needed to find the cause of his problem.
