Dr. Angela Passanise, DO

Dr. Passanise has been my knee doctor for almost 2 years. She is a great doctor, very kind and patient. She listens to your concerns and answers any questions you might have. I had my left knee replaced in January 2026 and, six months later, my knee feels great. At every follow-up appointment, she carefully checked my progress, told me how I was doing and asked if I had any concerns. She is very professional but she also gets know a little about her patients. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having knee issues.

Dr. Passanise is a great doctor. I didn't know it at the time but I had a completely torn rotator cuff along with a torn bicep. In reviewing her, I found she worked in sports medicine. I figured if she could take care of athletes such as football players, she could absolutely address my shoulder. And I wasn't disappointed. She was patient answering all of my questions and thoroughly explained the process, what to expect and post-op/recovery. She took her time during our visits before and after and I never felt rushed. I happily found she was always on time and also was available via the portal for questions or concerns even responding to me a few days after surgery on a Friday night. I'm not one to provide glowing reviews but she is kind, concerned and very empathetic along with being a great surgeon. I did a lot of research on surgeons before I made an appointment and I can say I'm very glad I found Dr. Passanise. I highly recommend her if you need shoulder surgery.

Dr. Passanise was excellent! I immediately felt confident in her performing my surgery and I definitely do my homework on doctors, especially for a surgery. She thoroughly explained everything she saw on my MRI and printed out pictures from the procedure and thoroughly explained what she did to fix the problem. She does not rush through any appointments and will answer any and all questions even if she's running behind schedule. While my knee surgery is a pretty common procedure and probably not one of the more difficult procedures, it seemed just as important to her as a more difficult surgery. My outcome has been excellent! I'm 11 weeks post-op and no longer have to live with knee pain. Besides some remaining stiffness occasionally (which is probably more related to my Fibromyalgia) I'm completely happy with the results and would definitely contact her again should I ever need to! I will definitely recommend her to family and friends.

Dr. Passanise is a Wonderful!! Wonderful Doctor!! Had a shoulder replacement. I was in so much pain and couldn't move my whole arm, but after surgery I had very little pain ( I did use ice packs all day long and it kept my pain down) even my scar looks great! Now four months later I can use my arm with no pain I can reach above my head to the side and in front of my body.. Dr. Passanise takes great pride in her patients she stays with you from the start and to the end of your recovery. I'm giving her 5 stars but I would give her 10 stars.. I highly recommend dr. Passanise and her staff (which are wonderful as Dr. Passanise.)

Dr. Passanise operated on my right shoulder, rotator cuff, and long head of the biceps tendon. She spends more time with me than any other Dr. discussing the details of my condition, procedure, recovery, and expectations. More than anything else she actively LISTENS to me. I feel most doctors are rushed and begin pre-diagnosing my condtion before I finish speaking. She is thorough often asking many questions about me and my condition. I'm a scientist (not medical) and she offers detailed explanations showing me exactly what the problem is/was and what corrections she applied. She has a GREAT team offering the same care and consideration to patients questions.

I had my right shoulder replaced.. I had know doubt of her ability to take care of my shoulder. She explained everything to me that I needed to know and answered all my question. Her whole team was wonderful. I would have her do the other shoulder if I ever needed it....

I couldn't have picked a better surgeon. My shoulder was shattered in many pieces. Now it works just fine. The faint scar healed with no thickening or mobility issues. It looks good. I felt respected & cared for in all my interactions. Dr. P has a quiet, reassuring empathy without being effusive. She is confident, realistic & honest. She gave clear explanations & answered my many questions. She stayed involved with my recovery & continues to be informative & encouraging. She went above & beyond. Dr. P didn't "just" do an excellent repair of my shoulder - she took care of all of me. I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Passanise.

Dr. Passanise was understanding about my concerns for the surgical process as well as how it may impact my recreational and family life. She was equal parts personable and professional. Glad to have a surgeon like her nearby and in my medical network. Only negative was a long wait at the surgical center, but this was due to situation outside of her control with other patients in the OR.

I had a knee replacement earlier this year and Dr. Passanise was my Orthopedic Surgeon. I was a reluctant patient, but she was patient and kind in explaining what was going on in the joint and that it was not going to get better with out surgery. The operation when super and my recovery was mostly smooth. I would highly recommend this physician and her whole team!

Dr. Passanise was great. Had my right shoulder replaced and couldn't be happier. The whole crew is the best from start to finish. Highly recommended!
