Dr. Angela Michelle Pollard, MD

BEWARE. Me and my son almost lost our lives. I was going to pollard for over a year, everything was okay. Except outdated office, I have to call THEM to get my results back which is super unprofessional. Now let’s get into the reason I left the one star. I was pregnant & it was high risk. My WHOLE pregnancy everything was great. Until 2 weeks before my baby arrived. I started feeling contractions and I Was dilated, I asked to be induced because the pain was so extreme. I was never offered an ultrasound just told to basically deal with the pain. On a Friday I went to my appt With Pollard and was told I Was going to go into labor the next day. & I did! But pollard NEVER showed up to my delivery. So a on call doctor had to delivery my baby. And to make things worse the hospital didn’t have my Paper work that pollard was supposed to Send over (blood work ect).. During labor my pelvis was small so the on call doctor had to remove my baby via vacuum and he was injured at birth. Pollard… recommended that I go to a private hospital for HER convenience because it’s next to her office with a level 2 nicu, once my baby was here he had to be transfers to Good Samaritan hospital were he got the care he needed. Pollard never called to check on me after I gave birth, and the doctor who delivered my baby called pollard crying so she KNEW how things went and never even had the compassions To check on me. When I went to my postpartum appointment she told me the doctor called her and didn’t even want to check me down there. I had to ASK her smh. She didn’t check my breast for lumps. Or even treat the pain I was feeling. I had to make an appointment at another obgyn office where They did EVERYTHING like it’s supposed to be done at a postpartum appt..

I went in as a new patient for a papsmear which was done by RN. Had a mammogram something was wrong and so I was sent for a 3D mammogram and an ultrasound . Called the doctor office for some questions. I was told the doctor was on vacation and the RN had been working there for 20 years. Yeah not ok. Zero communication. Not acceptable .

This place is an absolute nightmare. EVERY time I have come here for my annual pap, they pop me $500 and claim my insurance doesn't cover it. Then, they tell me they don't handle billing at the office and I have to call another number. This other office never answers the phone, and ignores my voicemails - so how exactly are billing issues resolved? Oh, they aren't, because I just got a call that I owe yet another $425.00 from a service I received in 2017. The last time this happened, I had to PHYSICALLY go into the office to get it resolved because no one would help me over the phone. And now it's happening a second time? Unreal. Find another doctor - this office is incredibly unprofessional.

This is the best Gyno office in the Los GAtos area. Dr. Pollard is amazing and brilliant.

I have been very happy having Dr. Pollard as my OBGYN. She is very caring and personable. She is direct and to the point and very good!!!!
