Dr. Angela M Taylor, MD

Dr. Taylor is an excellent physician. She always takes care of all my questions and concerns.

Dr. Angela Taylor has been my cardiologist for 14 years ever since my quadruple bypass surgery in 2010. There are not enough superlative words in any dictionary to tell you how great she is. I'm not sure I would still be alive at age 75 without her care for me. I want her to be my cardiologist forever. UVA needs to keep her as happy as I am about what she has done for me and all the other people she cares for in her work at UVA.

Dr. Taylor is wonderful she's very sincere and very thorough and when you have a doctor that really cares about you you could feel it. She's wonderful.

I first sought out a new cardiologist at UVA since I have had 3 cardiac stents in less than a year. 1 big heart attack, 1 minor heart attack during 2nd stent 3 months later and finally 3 months later another stent in 3 months and a cardiac spasm.. I travel back and forth from VA and NC and two of the events took place out of state. Once I was back home after all this I am still having angina and the cardiologist in my home state was eager to do another Cath. I needed to find a Dr that could gather and interpret all the cardiac history and come up with a plan for treatment going forward. I have just started with this Dr and already am feeling better about the future of my cardiac health. She did exactly what I needed. We have an immediate plan and based on the results of that plan if necessary a plan going forward.

I came to Dr. Taylor in a round about way due to cardiac emergency because my condition could not wait until she had an office appointment available. She was very warm and friendly and had a thorough knowledge of what she wanted to do to help me and what she had planned in the event that we needed to go in a different direction. I was very impressed with her and her knowledge, as well as the fact that she performed my cardiac catheterization and opended up 2 major blockages in my right coronary artery. I feel that she saved my life! I highly recommend her.

Dr. Taylor is, of allthe doctors I have, the best of the bunch. She's straight-forward, accurate and gives you a plan to better your health. She is very good and I am lucky she was available a couple of days following my heart attack
