Worst dr I have ever seen. Doesn’t do an actual physical assessment, rolls eyes at you, told me to just go into withdrawal because he wasn’t going to refill what my previous dr had me on (he retired) or even titration. All he did was push injections, but how does he know where it even hurts if he didn’t do a physical exam

I saw him 11 years ago and I came to realize he seemed like he was just out of medical school or a resident. Never let him inject you or put needles into you anywhere or for any reason. Worst experience ever and still suffering the consequences.

Last year I had upper and lower epidural steroid injections to treat pain from degenerative disc disease, and post cervical disc surgery. The resuts have lasted about a year, longer than those given by other physicians. I plan to return soon even though I have moved out of state. Dr. Lowry also prescribed a cream made in a pharmacy specifically for my complaint to be used with a lidocaine ointment, non narcotic treatments which work, and yes, my pain is as bad as those who would say otherwise.

Meeting with Dr Lowry was quite possibly one of the worst interactions I've ever had with a physician. I have chronic back pain due to a fractured vertebra and a completely degenerated disc. Over the past decade I have done everything that has been recommended by other pain management physicians without success including IDET, radio frequency at my facet joints, multiple rounds of cortisone injections, physical therapy, acupuncture, every non narcotic pain reliever that is available as well as topical creams and chiropractic care. Dr. Lowry refused to provide me with any sort of medication to relieve my pain suggesting that I needed radio frequency at my facet joints, which as I stated before I've had on multiple occasions without any long term success. He said he would not give me pain medication because my pain didn't justify it and I needed to exhaust every other avenue. I HAVE exhausted every other avenue, which I clearly explained to him, except surgery which he did suggest… although admitted it wasn't recommended as a solution for back pain. Basically, unless I was willing to perform a several thousand dollar procedure, thus lining his pockets, he was unwilling to help me in any way. He was the LEAST compassionate physician I've ever seen in my entire life and you would be better off not wasting your time here.
