He scheduled me a sleep study and the mstl, he ordered all my supplies followed up with them, does a really through job.

I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea over five years ago and am tired of short term treatments. Wanting to get more information on long-term options, I went to see Dr. Achaen. He did not listen to me or my concerns. He downplayed documented issues and talked at me for 20 minutes to push the easy band-aid that doesn't address the root cause of my sleep disorder. He then went on to try and get me to do another sleep study when he hadn't even bothered to request the records from my previous two. He's simply checking the boxes on his script and doesn't care about the patient as an individual.

Had appointment because I was told he was the best. Have had chronic insomnia for five years. At appt. he produced two pages of medications I could. Told him I had been on everyone. Medicine Im on he said only my psych can prescribe. Ive been dismisses by three family docotrs and made to see a psych. Four docs later no diagnosis on insomnia. Dr. Achaen ordered sleep study. Had it done. Nurse calls me week later "Good news no sleep apnea. Bad news. No idea what causing problem. Said I had to come in for follow up for mext steps, but had to wait over three months again to see him again. Have called 4 times since Nov. 13. No return call. I need my follow up visit date and guidance on what to do next!!!! 5 doctors and 5 no cure or reason foind
