Dr. Anil Kumar Bhatia, MD

I like Dr. Bhatia. He has helped me keep my diabetes well-controlled for 14 years. To some he may seem unfriendly because he doesn't engage in chit-chat and ask about your personal life, etc., and I like that. He is all business, finds out what is going on with your health, and that is all - no wasted time. He answers your questions, checks your vitals, prescribes your medicine, and gets you out of there. You won't spend an hour waiting to see him; his office is very efficient. To people who want to go on and on about themselves and feel like their doctor is their dear friend, I don't recommend him. For people who like to take care of business and want a doctor who respects their time, I do recommend Dr. Bhatia.

I went from a great A1c, 5.3 to uncontrolled diabetes, 7.2 under his care due to him not controlling my nighttime fluctuations that was completely out of my control and that I brought to his notice multiple times over several years. I struggled with trying to understand why on a diabetic diet I could not see low A1c numbers. He did nothing to resolve it! He never gave me the test results without me having to pry the results out of him. The office staff is rude, except for Camula, who evidently has left. His office staff told me my pharmacist was a liar when prescriptions weren't called in multiple times over multiple years and my pharmacist said Dr B's office never called in the prescriptions. I'm firing him TODAY! My new and REAL endocrinologist has gotten my blood sugar readings down in less than a week. Stay clear of him and this office unless you want to have uncontrolled diabetes due to bad Doctoring.

If you have a medical condition that is hard to diagnose and you have been from one doctor after another with no relief, Dr. Bhatia is probably your best bet. I have never seen a doctor spend as much time with a patient as him. Please note he doesn't suffer fools easy or pander. No nonsense type.

Dr. Bhatia saved my life. Quality of my life was horrible. Went to scores of other doctors/practices and never got any proper diagnosis or improvement, before I finally stumbled up on Dr. Bhatia. A different kind of practice (wish more were like him). 10 min wait at his office. He doesn't have office full of staff talking on phone, facebooking, creating zillion piles of paperwork, ordering tests and what no. Get to see him on time or within 10-15 mins of appt time. He spent about 30-40 mins of face time every time I went. Blunt and upfront. Went step by step till my quality of life of became bearable. He does his own lab test most of time. His rates are so reasonable I didn't bother dealing with insurance. I am real sad to see his ratings so low. I am assuming because he is not a typical run of mill doctor with fancy office, ordering million tests and all the other crap.

Dr Bhatia is the best!!! He was able to figure out what no one else could. I am soooo glad he is my doctor.

Terrible doctor. His whole manner of how he treats you like you are an idiot and he knows everything. Won't listen to anything you say. Would never reccomend to anyone.

Told him I was excessively tired, he told me my thyroid was "90% diseased", but prescribed anti-anxiety meds. To top that off he didn't tell me what he was giving me (side effects, highly addictive, etc), just said it would help me sleep. Fortunately, I looked up the meds & never took them. This man is a pill pusher

Rude, money grubbing, unprofessional, should not have a medical license! Will submit a review to insurance company!

All Dr Bhatia cares about is the almight dollar! I saw him for a year and he still didn't get my thyroid levels under control. He would prescribe 1 medication with different doses, then change it to another dose, then when that didn't work, started back with the first set of doses which didn't work either. All he would do for a Dr's visit is check my glucose levels, listen to my heart and breathing, then check my relfexes. THAT'S IT! Finally, I started seeing Dr. David Huffman who found out that I had Hashimoto's Thyroiditus and he found that after the first visit with the bloodwork he did. I believe Dr. Bhatia to be a quack and doesn't know the first thing about endocrinology. Not to mention you can't understand a word he says. He's pitiful. I wouln't recommend him to treat my dog much less another person.

I've never had a problem getting an appointment, rescheduling or contacting someone at his office. He is hands on and once you get to know him very friendly. I have seen a lot of endocrinologists but never found someone so interested in what was going on with me. I would recommend him to anyone, at least at his office you don't have to pay to park, go into a maze of an office building, go to a holding cell where you wait ages to see a nurse who lets you wait some more in a little room with an outdated and sticky magazine. His office runs like a doctor's office should, and I can spend as much time as I need in his office asking questions.
