Dr. Anil Chawla, MD

I've been a patient of Dr Chawla's for many, many years. I wouldn't trust anyone else as my healthcare provider. Although my health is generally good, and I don't see him very often, he has diagnosed any issues I have had with 100% accuracy. Even when other physicians, like E.R. physicians, couldn't come up with the right diagnosis. I hope to have Dr Chawla for a very, very long time.

Dr Chawla is very kind and very to the point..All his crew is very attentive and the best, you don't need to wait looooong hours like other doctors and he was very bussy the day I went to see him.

A lot of wasted time for both the Dr. and myself. I already have my own Primary Care Physician that I've had for years but wanted a second opinion because my doctor refuses to change my doses around of current medications. Although no one asked this of me, I printed out records and gave information to Dr. Chawla on my current medications, test results, etc. Not only did he want to completely change and have me stop using my medication I have been on for months that has been successful, but he wanted to give me high doses of drugs NO ONE has ever heard of. He also told me to give a medication that I told him gave me bad side effects another try. Huh? I said forget it and learned to only trust what my own doctor tells me. Office and staff is what you expect. Kids screaming and running around, odd and hidden-ghetto facility location, rude clerks and, "nurses." They said a visit for the uninsured is $110.00. When I go there, some other office desk lady beginning her shift said, "It's… $125.00." After leaving, they had to refund me because it was really only $75.00. WHAT?

I've seen several doctors in my life, but Dr. Chawla is the greatest! His bedside manner is the best I've seen. His dianosis has always been accurate, even if I didn't agree at first. He has always been right on the money! I'm confidant that I've got the best doctor in the area looking after me!

I have been a nurse for 14 years. I have access and knowledge of every doctor in Michigan City. I think Dr Chawla and the doctors at Franklin Clinic are above and beyond what the public has grown to expect. I get an appointment every time I need a doctor, mostly same day. Dr Chawla himself calls to answer questions and give results. The prices for lab work are a fraction of what I have paid elsewhere. I can't speak highly enough about Dr. Chawla and his staff.
