Dr. Anisa Kay Moore, MD

Worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. I tried to ask her questions about my condition and she took my questions the wrong way, becomming very abrasive and defensive. I then tried to explain that I wasn't questioning her, I was just worried and didn't want to be on yet another drug for my condition. She was short and rude with me. Also a drug pusher.

This is a bittersweet opinion. I had a mildly serious situation going on with me and it was due to a habbit. Dr. Moore has bedside manner but she expresses it in a different way. It's more of a, "I'm the doctor, you're not. You can chose to to follow my direction to get better or you can be your own doctor." Now not everybody may appreciate this attitude, I know I didn't. I was on the verge of releasing havoc. 2 years later I remember the first time I met her and how her attitude saved my life. She scared the sh*t out of me and now I'm the healthiest I've ever been because of it. So if you want to tell your doctor how to do their job, go ahead. Just make sure her name isn't Anisa Moore. Her follow up could use some courtesy but that's the worst I can say about her. She changed my life and that's enough. I realized that If I talked to a doctor that was going to let me walk all over them, I could possibly have heart disease by now. She scared me and I'm thankful for it.

Dr. does not appreciate a patient taking own initiative in their health care by doing research and asking questions. Does not believe symptoms expressed and denied medication alteration (not a psychotrophic drug!). Very poor bedside manner. Her partner isn't much better. Don't waste your time here if you want to be your own advocate.
