Dr. Anisa Sultana Yunus, MD

Was told she doesn’t give second opinions after I already made an office visit and was told an hour before she would not see me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yunus for about 20 years and find her to be a thorough physician who cares about her patients.

Avoid her. It is not professional at all.

Dr Yunis was my hospitalist at St Clair Hospital and I was very pleased with everything she did for me.

She seems to be on top of my conditions and has been very instrumental in early diagnosis of a couple of issues that could have been very bad if not detected. You pay a doctor for an expert opinion and advice, hers has been very good. I have been a patient of hers for 20+ years.

I find the staff to be very courteous and caring, I have several difficult health issues and feel Dr. Yunus is doing an excellent job of keeping track of everything with all the specialists I have to deal with. I have recommended her to a number of people including my own daughter. Some may think she is not paying attention as I read in another review but she is. she is caring and professional but not fake friendly. I personally prefer a Dr. who speaks to you like an intelligent adult rather than sugar coating everything.

The staff processes you into a exam room quickly, however the Dr. keeps you waiting. A lot of times I schedule the first appointment of the day to try and avoid any delays. She has never arrived at the office on time for one of my appointments. I see her 3 - 4 times a year for chronic conditions. I also feel that she doesn't listen attentively as she's writing in the chart while you are talking. As much of an annoyance it is to change doctors, after 6+ years, I am switching.
