About Dr. Anderson
Dr. Anissa Monseau Anderson was raised in West Liberty, Ohio County, WV and is a product of the West Virginia educational systems. A 1990 graduate of Wheeling Park High School and a 1994 graduate of West Liberty State College with a degree in dental hygiene, she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University in 1998 and later completed a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2001 at WVU.
In addition to being a member of the American Dental Association and West Virginia Dental Association, Dr. Anderson is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the West Virginia Orthodontic Association (secretary/treasurer). She also serves as a lecturer for national and state orthodontic seminars and is a member of the West Virginia Dental Association Executive Council.
Dr. Anderson is proud to be one of five female full-time orthodontic specialists in WV.
In her spare time, Dr. Anderson enjoys playing the …piano, teaching Sunday School at First Baptist Church-New Martinsville, sports and spending time with her family.
Dr. Anderson, her husband, Danny Anderson of Ridgeley, Mineral County, WV, and their daughters, Alavia, 11, and Kayna, 9, and Jessa, 3, reside in New Martinsville, WV.
