I was worried because I am very picky about my doctors. As a patient with a history if taking care if sick family members I've become somewhat of an expert on diseases and cures lol I really didn't know what to expect but after reading some ladies poor review I was like omgosh I may have made the wrong choice. This was so not the case! From the first time I called her office in concord which was right after I stepped out of my primary's office her staff was very nice happy to help me and answered all my questions as a new patient. When I got to my appointment that Monday because I wanted to see Dr. Anita right away and it was Friday afternoon that I called her office. I waited not more than 15 minutes by the time I filled out my new patient paperwork she was ready to see me. Again at the officer he staff was very nice and professional. When Dr. Anita came in the room she was very nice and professional listened to all my concerns and addressed them promptly assuring me I would be ok :)… she didn't only spend 5 minutes with me she spent as much time with me as we both needed to solve my health issues.:) I would definitely recommend Dr. Anita to all my friends who need her expertise because I felt comfortable and secure and that she was am expert at her job. Ps no she didn't try to sell me a diet program but if she thought I needed one badly I would hope she would try to sell one to anyone who is not healthy and needs to loose weight or die! She is concerned about our health and wants everyone to be healthy. ThAt is a good Doctor :))

My experience was not very good. I have a long health history and am very familiar with my condition and have lived with it and have control it very well for 25+. I have had some wonderful doctors in the past that have treated me and kept my condition in check. I recently moved to the area and needed a new doctor. I waited in a small room for 20 minutes, she came in and seemed rushed. She was very condescending and didnâ??t like the medication I had been on for 12 years and was doing well on it. She insisted on changing it and wouldnâ??t listen to me when I said I had not had a good experience in the past with what she wanted me to change to. She reassured me that they have improved the medication and refused to renew the one I had been on. Three weeks later I was in the emergency room for the day being treated for a very bad reaction to the medication she changed me to. The treating doctors were stunned that she put me on that medication and told me to never take it again. They put me… back on the one I had been on for 12 years and life slowly went back to normal in two weeks. I have a great new doctor that was just as stunned as the other doctors about the whole incident. To add insult to injury three months later I receive a bill for $155 dollars. I called the office before I made an appointment and ask if they were a provider for my insurance. The woman on the phone said yes if itâ??s a PPO, I told her it was. Now I receive the explanation of benefits that states they are not a provider and I am responsible to pay the full amount to her. All in all not a good experience

This review on Dr. Anita Bhat MD is my opinion of my experiences and interactions with her and her office staff. Dr. Bhat walked into the room and never once looked directly at me even while introducing herself. She sat the entire time looking over all of my paperwork while I explained that my regular and naturopathic doctors had gone as far as they could and that I had had all the standard test and still couldnâ??t find out why I was so sick. I explained that my health had become so bad that my daily quality of life was severely compromised and was still declining. Dr. Bhat said she would do extensive testing and be able to see what the problems where if there were any. When I got home I looked over the lab slip and noticed that every test requested were all the same test that my regular doctors had already done many times. I called the office and asked if two additional tests could be added that my Naturopathic doctor recommended. I wanted aldosterone levels and an… ATCH Stimulation Test. Both are standard test any endocrinologist would know in their treatment of patients. Dr. Bhat had NO idea what the ATCH Stimulation Test was or how to order it. She actually had her staff call around to find out. The staff at this office are very nice, caring and really did try hard and were very professional. The ATCH test was done incorrectly the first time and when I asked to have it done correctly they told me that the results of the other blood tests had came in and that they where all normal and that Dr. Bhat felt I didnâ??t really need the ATCH test. I was basically dismissed. I DEMANDED that it be done again. After the second ATCH Stimulation Test I cancelled my follow up appointment with Dr. Bhat and got the results through another doctor. The test showed that I was indeed sick and in need of treatment. I understand that I cancelled my appointment but I am still floored that I have never received a call from Dr. Bhat telling me that the results showed that there is a real health issue and that I needed treatment in order to get well. I ended up finding a wonderful endocrinologist in Lafayette where I not only was heard but started on a treatment plan. In my opinion Dr. Bhat is not a true healer.

Dr. Anita Bhat was very caring, precise, and knowledgeable. I recently switched to her and feel I am in very good hands with her. She took time to explain my medical issues and treatment, which most doctors don't do these days. I highly recommend Dr. Bhat!

my endocrinologist at Concord retired, I was so lucky I found Dr. Anita, she is very compassionate, prompt, and to the point.
