Dr. Anita Faye Eason, MD

During many visits Dr. Eason takes her time and listen to my concerns. I don't feel as if I am being rushed and she is genuinely concerned about her patients. Although she listens, she will provide you her medical opinion. I hesitated about taking a colonoscopy and she broke it down in a very creative manner that ultimately got my attention. I am happy to report that my colonoscopy outcome and results were great, and I will not have to take another one until 10 years from now. Dr. Eason gets 10 stars!

this doctor is so bad words wont suffice- avoid this woman- beyond poor really

more a sadist than a doctor- I suspect she is a black racist with a grudge against white people in general and white men in particular - she let me suffer in ungodly pain for 2 weeks at Huntsville va clinic- refusing to give me anything and let me suffer- some people can get by with almost anything

I believe this woman to be either a quack or a sadist- she treated me at the va in Huntsville aal - she refused to treat my pain - I wound up in the emergency room and put on morphine because of her - if this is a doctor I know why veterans are commiting suicide in record numbers

I have been seeing Anita Eason for almost seven years and wish I had come to terms with these problems earlier. The biggest complaint I have about Dr. Eason is the way she handles prescriptions. She tends to prescribe medications based on "kick-backs" from drug companies, not based on your unique problems. Sometimes my husband and I would have to ask for certain prescriptions for our conditions because we heard about them from someone else. It's a shame when your friends tell you about the right medication for your condition before your doctor does. Secondly, Dr. Eason has mis-diagnosed sicknesses but was never in a hurry to get me back in to fix the problem. She prescribed allergy medicine to my husband, but he then went to a walk-in clinic, found out he had bacterial cultures in his throat, and had to have antibiotics. I was given allergy medicine and a cough suppressant for a persistent cough. Allergy medicine did nothing, cough suppressant barely worked. But when I ran… out of cough suppressant, I would have had to wait two days to see her again. I went to a walk-in clinic immediately because my cough wouldn't stop, and I was having severe back pain from it. In the end, the only thing that stopped my cough was Mucinex. Unfortunately, I had to get that info from a friend -- neither doctor could tell me that.Among other complaints, she never calls in prescriptions and never faxes in mail-order prescriptions. You are required to do all of that foot-work on your own. Usually have to wait an hour an a half (at least) to see the doctor. Despite her "jump to conclusions" style of doctoring, she did spend time with me once she was able to see me.
