Dr. Anita Lynn Hart, MD

I switched to St. Joe because of Dr. Hart. She was the rudest, most arrogant doctor I ever encountered, and I saw many doctors. My worst nightmare would be to get really sick and to see her as my physician.

She works as a hospitalist at the U-Michigan Health System. For our family, Dr. Hart was not able to handle what should have been straightforward care, especially at a hospital like U-M that says they provide excellent care. The care she provided was substandard. She showed no skills in diagnosis and treatment, and her attitude is not acceptable. Why U-M keeps her is inexplicable. If you or a loved one are assigned to her, demand another doctor, and if they will not change, consider transferring to another hospital. Do not trust her, you could be very, very sorry. Recovering from her care could be as bad as recovering from any illness.

I was admitted into the hospital and Dr Hart was kind and very understanding. She made a very scary and difficult time much more bearable.

She works in the hospital at U-M. She is abysmal at both diagnosis and treatment. As another commenter said, if you or your loved one are assigned to her, request an immediate change in doctor.

Have gone to the UM hospitals since the early 1970's. Have had significant, serious family illnesses treated at the UM hospitals. Never have had such an impersonal, disregarding, arrogant doctor assigned to us. Maybe Dr. Hart should be in research instead of patient care. If you get her, ask to have another Dr. assigned to your case.
