Psychiatrist Anita Iype completely disregarded my documented medical concerns. She refused my reasonable request for written communication, used coercive questioning tactics instead of good-faith discussion, secretly recorded my consultation, and ordered an involuntary hospitalization and forced medication that were medically unjustified. This felt retaliatory for my efforts to ensure my patient records were accurate. I would not trust this psychiatrist with my care again.

Dr. Iype exhibits an arrogant and dismissive attitude, refusing to acknowledge patient concerns or adjust treatment even when clear harm is being done. For years, she ignored my repeated requests to reduce or discontinue a medication that was severely affecting my health. Instead of engaging in a meaningful discussion, she dismissed my concerns with statements like, “We can agree to disagree.” She does not allow time for questions or thoughtful discussion. When I paused to think of a response, she cut me off and said, “I’ll take that as a no,” instead of giving me the opportunity to speak. This rigid, non-compliant approach prioritizes control over patient well-being. It was only after my parents intervened that she reluctantly agreed to stop the injection—something that should have happened much sooner.
