Dr. Anita Murray-Clary, DDS

I used to go to this dentist when I was a kid, and I had a very traumatic time every time I went. I had a few procedures done in particular that I remember being really scared of. One was when I was getting a crown placed on one of my premolars. They squeezed my jaw way too hard, and when I said it hurt they yelled at me that I was just being a baby. Another time they were doing something (I can't remember what) and I bit the dentist's finger because it hurt so bad, and the doctor yelled at me and forced my mouth open with a tool and when I started literally screaming and crying (because I was scared since they were yelling at me and they opened my mouth too far and it hurt) the lady told me I was just being a baby and she operated on babies that didn't cry as much as me. She kept telling me I was a baby, and the insults were constant. I distinctly remember one time when I was screaming and crying and the dentist swung her hand at me like she was going to smack me. Now I can't even… go in for a cleaning at my new dentist (who is really gentle and nice) without crying and having an anxiety attack. Take your kid here if you want to give them severe emotional trauma and trust issues, as well as a terrifying view of dentists later on in life. There should be an option for negative stars.

Do not take your children to this monster.

Nice office, but dentist is pushy about what procedures should be done. Office staff can be rude at times.

All of my children ages 8yrs, 6yrs, and 4 yrs are patients of Dr. CLARY. I had heard some conflicting statements about her practice and was nervous for our appointment. My children loved this office. We have now been to 3 appointments and everyone of them a positive experience.

My child was traumatized after visiting this dentist. We have a new one now.

My daughter is currently a patient and has been since she was a toddler. No, they do not allow parents to accompany their child during procedures but that is not uncommon practice with most dentists. My daughter has never had a bad experience with Dr. Murray Clary and has complimented many times about how much she likes the girls that work in the office. The office is always clean, decorated for the holidays, and there is a variety of entertainment for all ages.

Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this dentist at all costs. She has a 3d machine that is exposing the kiddos to outrageous radiation risk. The worst experience my kiddo has ever had. We definitely will not go back.

You as a parent are not allowed to be by your child's side. I was told I had to sign a waiver so they could restrain my 3 year old on a piece of wood with velcro and restraints and wrapped up. The waiver advised of bruising. My son did have bruising and a scab on the side of his mouth for days. I asked friends on Facebook if anyone takes their children to this dentist and multiple people advised to never take him back and that the dentist is very rough on children. I received a call today asking to confirm his appointment on Monday. I asked to go back with my child and was told "absolutely not!" I'm now looking for a new pediatric dentist!
