Dr. Anita Ramsetty, MD

Dr. Ramsetty was automatically assigned to me after my Primary Physician at MUSC Health Primary Care - Ellis Oak left the practice. Our initial appointment was via video due to the pandemic. We discussed my health concerns and she refilled my prescriptions as needed. Two months later when I requested for a refill, she refused. Her nurse explained to me that I would need to be seen first. When I asked the practice why my follow up appointment would be scheduled a month after my prescriptions needed to be filled, nobody could provide an answer. When I submitted my question to her nurse, the nurse actually had the audacity of telling me that it was my Primary Physician's responsibility to refill my prescriptions. I thought Dr. Ramsetty was my new Primary!? So at this point, I'm out of my medication to treat a chronic health condition and Dr. Ramsetty refuses to see me as soon as possible. She has violated her oath to to treat the ill to the best of one's ability. I would not recommend… for anyone to chose Dr. Ramsetty as my experience was atrocious.

Dr. Ramsetty made a quick accurate diagnosis. She was patient and listened to my concerns. Her treatment plan was adapted to suit my individual needs. She is a terrific doctor.

Dr Ramsetty is by far one of the most caring skilled physicians that either my husband and/or I have had in or combined 139 years!!! She did a magnificent job of regulating his diabetes, and communicated routinely with all of his other specialty doctors to make certain that his care was the best!!! She was always very concerned and available to us for any and all emergent needs that may develop. We were devastated to learn that she would no longer be practicing at Roper. WHAT A MISTAKE that was for Roper to make.Not only is this an issue and of concern to her patients but also to Dr Ramsetty's colleagues who gave her the utmost respect and referred to her with COMPLETE confidence!!!
