Dr. Anitha Murthy, MD

She was my nephrologist before moving to California. She is a nephrologist who really cares and is completely honest with her patients. I am very thankful to have had a doctor that really cared about my well-being. She listened to me and didn’t put any problems to the side. Wish I could thank her for whipping me into shape and tell her that I’m finally about to receive my transplant!

Dr. Murthy is kind, intelligent & a very beautiful lady. She was patient when answering my many questions & thoroughly explained the test results to me. Love her!

Dr. Murthy is rude and impersonal. She does not care about her patients. Her staff is rude and bossy. No one in the office is nice or helpful. Would NOT recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Murthy took over my care after my previous nephrologist retired. She is not a good doctor. She is condescending and impersonal. She does not care about her patients at all. I saw her for several years. I would not recommend her to anyone.

I do not recommend Anitha Murthy to anyone. My kidney function has declined 10 points in 3 months and she told me it was getting better! Thank goodness I have access to my lab results, or I'd have no option then to just take her word for it. I'm going to see someone else who will actually LOOK at my lab results, order more testing, and try to figure out what's causing my rapid decline. She is scary and inept.
