Dr. Anjali Kishor Pathak, MD

Dr. Pathak is an outstanding surgeon who gave me the gift of the best vision of my life after removing my cataracts and implanting lenses. She is a caring physician who spends time with you and answers all of your questions. Occasionally the wait time is longer than anticipated but I know it is because she is giving each patient the attention they need and she will do the same for me.

Very compassionate and understanding, first time someone listened to my problem.

I have been w/ Dr. Pathak for years as a patient and have had several appts. where I've left dissatisfied, mainly d/t her lack of people skills and just plain rudeness. Is she qualified, probably, but her lack of respect for people is just wrong! I've left there in tears on more than one occasion and will not return to her, ever!!!! She doesn't seem to work well under pressure and has snapped at me on at least 4 sep. occasions. She doesn't like to be questioned at all, and she truly lacks empathy. I feel as though there are plenty of well qualified eye doctors in the St.Louis area and why would one want to stick w/ her and deal w/ her horrible attitude and lack of people skills. Dr. Pathak is caring and down-to-earth, but very well qualified. She has treated my son for the last couple of years due to damage from some recalled contact lenses and she is very persistent in his treatment and available to us and our attorney. She handles very complex cases in an efficient manner. She also teaches and gives lectures since she is such a highly trained specialist.
