Dr. Anjali Ramaswami Iyengar

Run! Do not walk away from Dr Iyengar. She has a TERRIBLE bedside manner. She ignores patient concerns, even when they are absolutely warranted. I have a new oncologist that is 10x the oncologist she is. I think tht she is in the wrong profession.

They dont follow up, send referrals to different places, never gave me the script, so I could get the stuff myself. They never gave me follow up appt when I asked for one. They told me to call back in 6 mo to make appt. lost ct results and said they never got them on day of my appt. I have never seen such a screwed up office. long wait, I waited an hour past my appt time to see the doctor.

just had my visit with doc. i have been seeing her for six years i love her attitude and her compassion. i was scared when i first went to see her. i had stage 2 breast cancer and she was the one who seen me for my chemo. my first visit with her was funny she caressed my long hair and said sorry that is going to fall out i was shocked at first but she was honest she always told me what to expect. i got alot of side effects from the chemo and she would just address each thing. i think she is very caring and i would highly recommend her.

Dr. Inyengar makes it hard to give up. She has truly been a blessing for me over the past 3 years

I have been a patient of Dr. Iyengar's since 2014, and have had the upmost respect for her from the very beginning. She is on top of things, and goes the distance to make sure you are totally taken care of. She spends time with you in your office visit, and covers everything that you need to know. I was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer (estrogen induced) and she made the decision, since I didn't have any cancer in the lymph nodes, that I should have a radiation procedure that fits a balloon into your incision and the radiation goes inside the breast instead of outside which saves your skin from being affected. It is called Brachytherapy. It was easy, no side affects, and worked for me. She also decided not to give me chemo, since my numbers were on the edge of yes or no for chemo. She decided that at my age it probably would do more harm than good, so she put me on medication which I have been taking since my surgery. She makes sure I have an up to date mammogram twice a… year, and you feel when you are at your appt. with her, that you are the ONLY patient she has. Love this doctor for her dedication, her attention, and her regard to making sure that each and every one of her patients feel the same way as I do.

Last scan, she told me everything was good. After I celebrated with my children for another clean year, got a call from my other Dr, for a area of concern. Never was told before hand! She lacks communication and personal care to her patients. She told me verbally wrong test scores info and would not take time with me. I got charged for a hospital visit plus a office visit for 15 minutes of conversation with my concerns and telling me they are rubbish.

I believe Dr . Iyengar is a good oncologist but lacks bedside manner, lacks office sauvy and can be rather abrupt. I had issue with the office and asked Dr. if she had an office manager. Very abruptly she said "I don't want to hear it" and that was it. My issue had to do with sanitary conditions in both bathrooms-no tissue no paper towels and the patients being infused use those 2 rooms besides us with appts. Someone should have bathroom responsibility. My last visit they had me fill out all new personal forms and put a wrist ID band on me. This was a new thing for me and said so. Since Dr. wants labs done there I came for a blood test. I waited 1 hour. When they Finally called me they used a different name (I'm not Olivier & I told them twice) to have infusion! I just needed a quick blood draw and that was written on my appt. And they were not busy. This office is just not professionally run.

Dr. Iyengar is the BEST doctor in any field. She is always concerned about each and every patient. I just love her, and what she has done to improve and save my life. Her mannerisms are down to earth, and you feel very comfortable during your appt. If you find you need an Oncologist, please, please, don't think twice...choose Dr. Iyengar.

What a hoot! I loved Dr. Iyangar's personality! It made me feel more at ease. She was very thorough and answered any questions I had. I liked her bedside manner and humor. I definitely look forward to my next visit!
