Dr. Anjana Mathur, MD

Dr. Mathur is a useless referral doctor. She is horrible and not caring. She spends more money and time removing these negative comments than she does helping anyone. Personally I cannot wait for karma to catch up with her.

Doctor Mathur herself is very nice, but her receptionist (or whoever picks up the phone) is very unprofessional and accused me my husband of lying. My husband went to see Dr. Mathur for a referral. He asked the receptionist to send the referral to the dermatologist he will be seeing. My husband gave the receptionist all the information, the receptionist forgot to send the referral and we got a very high bill from the dermatologist (for my insurance you need have a referral to a specialist otherwise they charge you the full visit cost). When I called the office she basically said we never asked for a referral and that we are lying. Furthermore, she did not let us speak to anybody else, claiming she is the manager and there is nothing she can do. I am so upset and just got off the phone with my insurance company. I switched mine and my husbands primary care physician.
