Dr. Anjanetta Latrice Foster, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Foster for almost 2 years, I didn't make the appointment myself, my kids did.I had a life threatening illness and had to be hospitalized for about a week, almost died, almost had kidney failure, had so many other things that needed to be tweaked, but no one listened to me. I was at my wits end, so tired of doctors, i found her refreshing, she took the time to listen to me, and she told me to make a list and tell her what ever I needed, and she would try to fix it. She helped me get medicine that my insurance denied, that was helping me. She's pleasant, and re assuring, and so is her staff. They make me feel welcomed. I enjoy going to her office, the office is clean, and so is the bathroom. The parking lot is convenient, and some one is always leaving or entering the building to help me with the door, I only wish she was closer, so I wouldn't have to drive on the freeway.

I have seen Dr Foster for many years. Her staff has constantly declined in professionalism and common courtesy to patients. Most often, they are too busy chatting among themselves to be efficient or effective as a medical staff worker. There are constant undertones of racism that do not take long to become apparent if anyone is only half paying attention. I was verbally attacked more than once by her receptionist but today was the last straw. I will be reporting her and this office for many infractions that cannot be disputed, or at least not for long. The receptionist has a God complex and is SERIOUSLY not suited to be working with the public. She assured me if I demanded my way (who would do that as an adult?) I would not be seen until mid January. I explained that I did not say that to which she responded by telling me that conversations was not going to take place. Tacky. I will not go back. This is a very long, complex story but I must reserve details for now. I would strongly… urge everyone I know to avoid this business.

My mom is a patient of Dr. Foster's and has been for several years and the way she runs her practice is just unheard of. My mother is a diabetic she has been trying to get her diabetic supplies for weeks now but still nothing. When she contacts the diabetic supply company they have faxed over the request form to release her diabetic strips twice and have not heard anything yet. They have also tried to contact the office and was placed on hold for minutes on minutes, my mother has tried to contact them as well with the same results. So now my mother has to sit and guess about her blood sugar, this also happens when it comes to getting prescriptions called in to the pharmacy as well. The staff there is very rude they take no pride in their work at all this is something that should not be allowed. When you finally do get to speak with someone they have the nastiest attitudes known to man but i guess that's what happens when you mix relatives with business because they are related. I have… been trying to get her to change from this situation but due to her being on Medicaid it's just as bad. But we will look into getting her a new doctor the beginning of the year because I refuse to let my mom continue to be treated like a number instead of a patient.

I really hate to write such a negative review but people must know the truth before making an appointment with Dr. Foster. Although Dr. Foster is a good doctor, I fault her for allowing the terrible treatment you receive by the receptionsts that answer the phone. I was on hold for 45 to 50 minutes three days straight and was never told why, they never returned to say anything. I reall think they went home and left me on hold one afternoon. The only reason I was desperate and held was to get my dad's prescription called in. I called back to complain but they put me on hold again. I work in a hospital and we would have been fired for such treatment. Customer service is very important in any practice. We must treat patients with the utmost respect in the hopital and it should be the same in the doctor's office. Ourt hospital pays good money to make sure our staff is trained in excellent customer service. It doesn't matter how many patients you have, everyone working there… should be professional and all patients should be treated with respect. Please Dr. Foster, have your staff trained. My father will never step foot back in that office and I'll make sure everyone I know never steps foot in there. Something has to change!

This is the worst Dr.'s office I have ever visit. Dr. Foster was recommended to me by a relative. The office is handle in a ghetto fashion. When you call in for anything, you are put on hold. What made me write a review is when I timed how long I was on hold. It was 49 mins. When someone did answer they were rude when I told them how long I had held the phone. This is the day after , call the pharmacy all day yesterday and this afternoon, still have not called my prescription in. Will be changing my primary Dr. from Dr. Foster , ASAP. Would never recommend to anyone. She may be good and some people may be willing to tolerate being treated like this, I am not one. Being good and having an office like this , take away from any professionalism.

Doctor is late to work. Office is always backed up with patients. You can hardly get someone on the phone at times. Office is hot in the summer. Some of the nurses are not personally enough.

The staff is ghetto!!!!!!! There are a few that are courteous, a few. Dr. Foster is great but getting to her is the problem. They DO NOT return phone calls. My pharamcy has been waiting for a refill approval for week on vital medicine. I will be changing very soon.

Dr. Foster is great with her patiences. She really pays close attention to what you are saying to her and is genuine in her concern for your health.
