Dr. Ankur Puri, MD

What an obnoxious arrogant little man. I would never recommend him. He has no bed side manner at all.

If I could leave minus stars, I would. I visited Dr Puri who told me that I had 2 ailments, one which required me to go see another specialist. Turns out I DID NOT have either of the ailments he told me that I had (learned this thru seeing the specialist and seeing another pulminologist in a different practice). Had to get 3 medications filled that as it turns out, I did not need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away from this doctor.

He exhibited little or no concern for my chronic cough and his big advice? Take Benadryl. Told him it made me dizzy & sick. Then told me to take it at night. (I don't cough at night.) Also told me not to go outside in the cold.(Can be hard in Pittsburgh in the winter.)Also told me to pull off the road when I cough. I would never get anywhere. Finally, he told me some coughs can't be dealt with. He went to medical school to learn all of this great information.
