He's probably fine if you just need help with a fib or something else that shows up clearly on an ECG, but if you're dealing with dysautonomia and are looking for an EP to help you, I would look somewhere else. He didn't help me. He comes off as kind but he was so dismissive. It took me almost a year after being cleared by him to get an accurate diagnosis. He told me not to worry and that I was very healthy about 15 times. I wasn't healthy. It wasn't anxiety. I have dysautonomia. Looking back, the symptoms I was complaining about should have flagged for dysautonomia, especially with a clean echo and reasonably clean EKG. I read his note from my appointment with him. He documented all my past and current mental health history in his narrative but left out almost all of my physical health conditions, including some of the ones we directly discussed. His narrative heavily implied my symptoms were anxiety related. It wasn't anxiety. It wasn't in my head. He just missed it.
