This was my second go around for cataract surgery..Dr Wiarda did an awesome job..She never seems like she is In a hurry, always taking the time to answer any questions you might have..Very personable and a joy to talk with..I highly recommend her, I promise you will not be disappointed...

I saw Dr. Ann when I had a growth on my eye. When i asked her what may have caused it, she gave me a very straight forward answer. In addition, she explained what the treatment would do and the possible side-effects of it. I believe that she was very knowledgeable about her area of expertise as well as very confident in her decisions making skills. Thanks to Dr. Ann, the growth on my eye went away in no time at all!

I saw Dr. Wiarda for a glaucoma evaluation. Dr. Wiarda was very informative and knowledgeable . Her exam was very thorough and detailed. She explained my condition in a way that was very easy to understand. I had a wonderful experience and was very impressed with both her enthusiasm and her ability.

She stated my husband had an "eye stroke" which caused double vision. He in fact did NOT have an eye stroke and his problem was due to diabetic conditions. Wiarda used language that common people couldn't understand unless they have been to Ophthalmology school. When asked what she meant, she would change what she said and skirt around the issue. I was not impressed by her as she didn't make a good analysis of what was going on. I left the office more confused than when we walked in. Horrible appointment.
