Dr. Ann Clarice Czarnik

I went to the ER for a ruptured eardrum. I have United Health Care for insurance and paid my $150 ER fee and the 20% for this doctor who was on call. This doctor's billing office also billed me for a $30 after hours clinic fee because I went to the ER during after-hours. Hello? If it had been during regular hours, I would have gone to the clinic and not the ER. UHC will not pay this as it's not covered under my insurance but they say they are sent bills like this all the time and they deny them. This is the 1st time, ever, of going to the ER at Seton Hospital in Austin, Texas, and being billed for going to the ER AND for going during after-hours! This is ridiculous. The doctor spent 5 min. at most with me, prescribed some antibiotics and said follow up with another doctor in 2 weeks.

This woman should not be allowed to provide medical care for people. She is very uncaring.
