Dr. Ann Marie Gierl, DO

Dr. Gierl is a kind and compassionate doctor who is very thorough. She takes time to explain the plan of treatment and listens patiently to you questions and concerns.

Dr. Gierl is by far and away the best rheumatologist I have ever seen. I have been seeing her for almost 18 years. She takes the time to listen to your concerns, and your opinions. She will also offer more than one option for treatment, and then has you pick what works best for you. She explains each and every medication she prescribes and any possible side effects to watch for. She also lets you know how long you need to be on a medication before you can expect results. And she tells you what the plan will be if that medication doesn't work for you. I will recommend her to my own children when/if the time comes for them to see a specialist. I have nothing but praise for her, both as a doctor and as a person.

Dr. Gierl is one of the best and most comprehensive doctors out there. She is thorough and treats the whole patient, not just the disease. I saw her for many years, until I moved across state. I recently returned and am very happy to be able to continue my care with her. She truly cares.
