Dr. Ann Shukri Mercer, MD

Not one of these reviews are newer than 8yrs old. The office staff is horribly rude and wait times are 2-3hrs, not 20min. All of her patients are elderly and know to bring their books and knitting because they know it’ll be 2-4hrs. Her patients tell her what is wrong with them, she pacifies them, but doesn’t confirm anything. One time my mom went there, had COVID symptoms, waited 2-3 hours & she never EVEN tested her. We had to beg her to test my mom the next day, of course she tested positive! My mom diagnosed herself as diabetic, based on a Dr. Oz show. She never tested her nor gave her any medication. This weekend my mom was hospitalized with severe abdominal pain and blood sugar levels in excess of 250. Dr. Mercer hydrated through the IV, told her nothing was wrong with her and released her!!

Takes the time to understand patient's concerns and needs. Great doc!

Dr. Mercer has positive bedside manner, sincere involvement in her patients health outcomes, and genuine care for her patients. She listens to what your body is telling you and allows you input on your medical care. Basically, what every doctor is under oath to do but has somehow forgotten. I wish she had a few clones so that more ppl could have a REAL doctor

Mercers staff is completely incompetent. They pass the blame, lose paperwork and patient files, takes weeks to get refills, takes weeks to get documents from her staff. Dr wouldn't allow mother to have much needed surgeries. Mothers in constant pain with no relief, thank god I finally convinced her to find new primary. She is scheduled to have her first surgery in 3 weeks. Finally someone who listened to my mom. Staff is horrible especially alma.

She is the best doctor I know. she helps me and always asks me about how i am doing when i enter the room. I love her she is so nice!I would recommend her to all my friends and families to go with her for a check up. Her workers are excellent because when i go in they greet me all nice!

Dr. Mercer is very thorough, caring and takes time with her patients.

Dr did not communicate with the family and did not return phone calls. She only went to see my family member at 11:30 at night. She changed medications without talking with anyone in the family or the patient. Her actions in regard to my 99 year old mother caused significant discomfort and pain to my mother in the last few months of her life.

Dr. Mercer is simply great!
