Dr. Ann Scarlet Monardo

Dr Monardo is very blunt with her patients. She will not look you in the eye and is very stand offish. She doesn't explain procedure before she does them and was late for my procedure. She is difficult to get an appointment with and the appointment is very short.

I am not impressed at all!!!! My daughter went from having a doctor she loved to getting stuck with Dr. Monardo when our original doctor moved away. The first visit with Dr. Monardo resulted in my 21 year old daughter that has recently been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis leaving the office in tears and thinking she would be dead by 40. We were not heard.....it was her way and that was the ONLY option. To hear Dr. Monardo talk, there is only one treatment for ulcerative colitis and we know from having our previous doctor that there are other options! If a person turns on a television they will see advertisements for several other options. It's Dr. Monardo's singular way and that's it......there's nothing else to discuss. The appointment was rushed, her nurse is rude, and I really can't think of one positive thing to say other than the girl that drew my daughter's blood did an excellent job. We will be figuring something else out. We know what we had, and this just isn't going to… work!!!! It's bad enough to be young and dealing with a health issue, but these people and their lack of compassion and empathy make it 1000x worse! Nobody should be treated like this. I honestly hope they get the pleasure of dealing with someone equally as rude and uncaring should they have a health issue arise. They may then learn to treat others as they would want to be treated. They need to adjust their attitudes and work on their bedside manner because it is horrible!!!!
