Dr. Ann Lutzeier Peick, MD

Performed operation completely wrong. Went in with large protruding hernia, left after surgery with the same thing. She didn't operate on the right thing. Avoid this incompetent doctor.

I love this woman for her expertise, knowledge and wisdom. But most of all for her incredible gift from God of compassion and mercy. She brings healing to the soul as well as to the body.

On the day of my cholecystectomy, Dr. Peick did not even remember that she had this surgery scheduled, which resulted in another MD having to perform the procedure. My family and I were informed 4 hours later after the surgery was originally scheduled that this change was going to occur because no one could get a hold of Dr. Peick. I was very disappointed in the hospital for having a doctor that wasn't even aware of her own schedule and failed to answer her phone within a reasonable time frame. I felt as if the situation was dealt poorly and my family was provided only a $10 voucher for the "misunderstandings."

I've an absolute fear of surgery and general anesthesia, so I went well over a year too long to get a small fatty tumor removed. By the time I saw Dr Peick it was a massive 12 pound beast swimming in liters of fluid, and there was a very real fear of cancer. She did such a good job getting my through this, removing the mass, and with everything else, that now as I go through recovery I can honestly say I owe her my life. I love Dr Peick, and if you need a surgeon, she'd be my first (and last) choice.
