Dr. Ann E Smelkinson, MD

Used this Dr for many years until she became part of a big hospital. Staff seems to always have an attitude. Find a different doctor.

I saw her for knee pain. She focused on everything but. I don't trust her judgement.

Not a good staff

Dr.Smelkinson is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor. I am very satisfied.

Despite the exceptionally good care I've received from Dr Smelkinson for many years, dealing with the staff has forced me to find an alternate physician. It's truly a pity.

She listens. Only problem it's difficult to make appointments. Her staff doesn't always answer phones.

This doctor is absolutely wonderful.She treated my grandmother who had Alzheimer's disease.She was knowledgeable and was able to pinpoint medical issues overlooked by most doctors.She had a great way of dealing with my grandmother who was a handful.

I really like Dr. Smelkinson. She spends time with her patients, asks pertinent questions, and listens to patients' questions and issues. She's sympathetic and friendly and also very candid. She's also good about following up on patient concerns. I've had doctors who rush patients in and out, who really don't have time to listen, and don't like answering questions. Dr. Smelkinson is the total opposite of those types of doctors. Her assistant, Carol, is rather quiet, but she's professional. She also does a near painless blood draw. My one quibble with the office is that it can be difficult sometimes to get through and make an appointment on the phone. But Dr. Smelkinson runs her own office, is not part of a clinic, and has a small staff, so this is understandable. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Smelkinson.

Everytime I call and Susan answers and talks to me she has a short and un pleasant manner. This is the worse place to get follow up's to get answers you need. Last time in I waited 40 minutes in the room to see the Doctor. The doctor might be good but is being drowned out by her staff!!!

Dr. Smelkinsdon is a great doctor and spends time with you. The biggest problem is her staff. Her nurse Carol is very difficult to deal with and makes you feel that you know nothing. Even staff from other Dr's office find her rude and hard to deal with.
