Dr. Anna Baldassari

Anna Baldassari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey certified in trauma work with women and children. She has over 4 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families to overcome symptoms of many different mental health issues. These include trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, impulse control disorders, and issues in self esteem. Anna received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Ramapo College and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapies, individualized based on a client's needs. These approaches include psychoanalysis, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy (TFT), mindfulness, and play therapy and sand play for children. Anna also uses a strength-based, client-centered approach to build trust and rapport with clients, leading to an effective therapeutic alliance.
