Dr. Anna Maria Barbieri, MD

I love and have deep respect for Dr. Barbieri. Her office gets very busy, so making an appointment can be frustrating. However, the quality of care I get from her trumps that. Being a doctor myself, and feeling the need to make sure I work with someone competent (per my standards), I feel very fortunate to have found her 4-5 years ago when I moved to NYC.

Great doctor, very nice, great bedside manners! I like her a lot and highly recommend her.

Dr. Barbieri is amazing! She listens, doesn't rush you, and consistently follows up. I had a wonderful delivery experience with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great OB.

they tell you they will call you by a certain date... they don't. so you are waiting for test results about your futures, leaving voicemails, BEGGING to be called back, and no one cares enough to call you back within 4 days of the original time they'd call you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Dr. Barbieri was not my usual OB, but was on call when I went into labor, and therefore delivered by beautiful baby boy. She was FANTASTIC! - Kind, caring, listened to my questions and concerns and answered all of my questions. She checked in on me constantly during the long labor, and made the experience of my first delivery amazing. I like her so much and trust her so much, that I am going to start seeing her for my annual visits. I would recommend Dr. Barbieri to any patient.

This was my Third apptempt to find a good Ob-Gyn. Dr. Barbieri came recommended and I know why. She listened, asked specific questions, made you feel at ease, and explained need for certain exams. My only dislike was the look of the exam rooms, they need a makeover.

I credit Dr. Barbieri with my life. After going into labor at 34 weeks with my twins Dr. Barbieri did an outstanding job delivering them and dealing with a significant amount of problems after they were born. I had preeclampsia along with some other issues and I have to honestly say, that if it were not for Dr. Barbieri and her quick thinking, I would not be sitting here tying a glowing review for her. Women still die during childbirth and I would have been a statistic instead of a mother, but Dr. Barbieri handled it all professionally, and with the utmost care and concern. I own my world to her and will continue to be a patient of hers as long as she will have me.

Its my first pregnancy and I am five months in. She is patient, caring and takes time to answer questions and explain things. I am very happy to have her as my doctor and feel confident that I am looking forward to having her deliver for me. Also, the staff at the reception is sweet too. Having forgotten to make a certain appointment for almost a month, they advised/reminded me about it, which was very helpful.
