Dr. Anna Christella Burson, MD

If you have a serious condition, take medication, or need help finding out what is wrong Please look elsewhere. She has a ton of bad reviews but I was desperate so I gave her 6 months and regret wasting my time. She is cold and detached, which I willingly to overlook, but in 6 months she did nothing but fill previous prescriptions from other doctors. I went a month trying to get her to refill a prescription she now says she didn’t write (i have it here) and denies that I called many times trying to get it filled (calls are in my phone log). She just isn’t worth the trouble. Thats the bottom line with her.

I let Dr. Burson know that I needed refills for my prescriptions and she said that she had already sent information to the pharmacy to fill my four prescriptions for 90 days. I told Dr. Burson that the bottles stated 30 days and that I was out of them; she stated it did not matter what the bottles stated. She argued with me that she had contacted the pharmacy and they told her the prescriptions were for 90 days and she would not provide me with refills until 90 days elapsed. I had to go to the pharmacy myself to find out what was happening. It turned out that my insurance only covered 30 days at a time and that they had filled them for 30 days, not 90. The pharmacist told me that Dr. Burson did not talk to him (apparently when doctors call the pharmacy they are put through to the pharmacist and not a technician). I found out that Dr. Burson did not talk to the pharmacist, she talked to a technician who did not provide all the information about my insurance only covering 30 days… at a time. Dr. Burson refused to call in new refills (blood pressure medicine). I felt that showed a flagrant disregard for my health and have switched clinicians.

This is the worst doctor ever!!!!! The staff is great. Anna Burson has no compassion or a caring bone in her body. I went to her b/c I needed help and she wasn't willing to help the same as my other doctor who retired. Doctor Burson is just about her paycheck and not her patients. DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU NEED HELP!!!!!

Very patient with all 3 of my children. Took care of all thier needs .spent time with everyone of them .nurse performed very well with the children. Children ask to go back .i highly recommend Anna Burson

She refused on multiple visits to address all my concerns. She basically had told me to never have any more kids (I have one!)and to quit work! I don't have a husband who is an assistant district attorney to support me like she does. Also have my daughter flu meds without testing to see if she even had the flu. She had upper respz

The staff were pleasant and helpful with the exception of Toni. I believe she is the Office Manager. She was rude, condescending, and disrespectful. Also behaved as if she was on some sort of power trip. Horrible attitude for someone who works with people.

I have had a total of 7 visits with this doctor. In every occasion I have waited over an hour in the waiting room, as well as the same in the room just to see her. She doesn't seem to care about her patients, it's just get you in and out. I have made my own diagnosis several times and she just agrees and sends you on your way. Office is dirty and very outdated. It's embarrassing to say the least. She does not value the time that people put into having to go to the doctor, yet alone the pain and suffering they may be enduring. I have never in my 30 years had such a horrible experience, every time we've gone. I am finding another primary

i've been a patient of dr. burson's for about a year, and i am currently looking for another healthcare provider. i DREAD having to go to her office. her staff is friendly and courteous, however, dr. burson herself is distant, cold and does not listen to patient concerns. she also uses condescending tones and sarcasm with you is you disagree with her course of treatment.

She really cares. Doesn't want to fill you up with needless medicines.
