Anna Corey, MD, MPH

Anna Corey, MD, MPH, is an assistant professor of medicine (infectious diseases) at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in 2009 and Harvard School of Public Health in 2010. She completed her internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Her clinical interests include preventing and treating infections in solid organ and stem cell transplant patients.I strive to provide high quality and compassionate care. I am respectful of my patients' time in that I thoroughly review medical records, labs, and imaging prior to the clinic visit. I believe good communication is the key to a successful patient-doctor relationship. I listen to patient concerns and questions and take them seriously. I frequently touch base with patients via MyChart and phone between visits. Since many of my patients have complex medical issues, it is important that I effectively …communicate with other members of their health care team including the referring physician, other specialists, and coordinators.
