Dr. Anna Ruth Holzer, MD

I went in for a sore throat and fatigue plus runny nose. She tested me for strep, declared I was "doing great," and sent me on my way with no help. I asked her if I was contagious as I was planning to go to my niece's Special Olympics where there would be lots of immune-compromised people. She said I was not contagious and could go but "just don't share food." Fast forward to the next day, I woke up the next morning miserable. Fever of 102. Still very sore throat. Decided to take a Covid test, and was bright-red line, Covid positive. This doctor did not even do a Covid test despite my Covid-like symptoms. What's worse is that I could have put immune-compromised people at risk if I'd followed her guidance. So despite fact that she seems like a very nice human, I would not recommend her. That is not competent care in my opinion.

I have been going to Dr. Holzer for the past year and she has been great. The multiple times I have seen her she has always taken the time to answer all of my questions and seemed very knowledgeable.

One of the nicest and genuine doctors I have ever met in my life. She truly cares about you and will do anything to make sure you are treated for she called and checked up on me late at night and called me the next morning called around to get me to see a specialist right away. Very caring individual

We got right in for appt. Bedside manner slightly poor, very abrupt.

A fantastic MD. I first met her when she was my Aunts doctor. My aunt was dying of cancer and she came to her house to check on her. Very compassionate. Gentle and kind. I changed doctors and have been going to her ever since. She very knowledgable and thorough.

Didn't seem to genuinely care about patient, did not take time to run any tests/labs for accurate diagnosis.
