Dr. Anna Ulfsdotter Karlsson

I saw a great NP at Dr. Karlsson's clinic who unfortunately referred me to Dr. Karlsson for colposcopies. I am the type of patient who is quiet and typically doesn't speak up if something is uncomfortable. Dr. Karlsson was rough with both colposcopies but second one it was her bedside manner and lack of compassion that bothered me. She jammed the speculum very hard against my cervix and I think that put pressure on my bladder. I kind of jumped and said "woah, I think I have to pee." Dr. Karlsson immediately sighed, rolled her eyes and said "really?!" She then said rudely "this isn't going to take long so just wait". I couldn't believe her reaction. I wasn't asking to pee, I would have held it but was merely reporting a symptom (something in which I never did despite being in pain during her colposcopies). A few years later, now that I am pregnant I unfortunately switched clinics (even though I loved my NP there) because there is no way I want any chance of Dr. Karlsson being the… one to deliver my baby.

Dr. Karlsson is the best. She cares so much about her patients and it comes from her heart. She takes the time to discuss all your issues. She is truly a great dr. She is very friendly. More than anything, She cares like a mother. She is very knowledgeable and always encourage you to speak out. Also, she spends quality time in making sure what she conveyed is actually understood by us.

Worsr doctor experience Ive had yet. Felt very insulted and belittled. I was pressured into taking tests I did not need to take and when I refused she said some completely inappropriate comments. I will never go back

If you dont have any problems with your pregnancy she isnt a bad doctor. She is VERY big on lifting weights and running during your pregnancy and dont even think about getting out of work while your pregnant. I work in construction and it was my boss that had to tell my not to come to work, dr. karlsson wouldnt. I had complications with my pregnancy and had to see another doctor who was shocked at some of the comments dr. karlsson had made. Im having my 2nd child now and decided not to see her.
